Riddle! Or something like it..

All right, this one's tough and if you know it don't give it away until no one else has anything to guess.

You are a detective trying to solve the murder of Jerry. From what you can tell, Jerry was easy-going and a little lazy. He enjoyed doing nothing very often. Not many people could say they didn't like Jerry, then again, Jerry didn't know many people very intimately.

Jerry died at some point during midnight and noon. He died in the room you stand in now where there is only one way in, the door you walked through which was locked when Jerry died. (There are no windows in the room if you didn't catch it) He was completely alone in the room when he died.

In the room, there is a single table standing normally on it's four legs. On the table there is split water and broken glass, there is also water and glass on the ground. There is a knocked over chair, just a regular chair. Dangling from the ceiling a light bulb on one of those string type things with a pull cord to turn the light on and off. The door is a normal wooden door with the regular hinges and doorknobs, the small gap at the bottom of the door that most wooden doors have was there and no different from the hundreds of door this particular one was made with.

The floor is just normal hardwood flooring, nothing is out of the ordinary here except Jerry's dead body lying the middle of the windowless room, who was alone when he went into the room and alone when he was found dead the next day.

How did Jerry die?

can i ask how far his body on the ground is away from the table. is he right next to it or is he like a couple of meters away, like 1 or 2 meters?

First it wasnt a murder. He couldn't reach the pull string on the light bulb so he used a chair to reach it. In the process he slipped and fell off the chair he was standing on, and died from severe trauma to the brain, when his head hit the ground. The spilled water and the glass were from the drink he had on the table that fell off during the accident.

All most, but not quite. He's close to the table but not right by it.

First off it was a murder, it deals with the glass and the water. No one was in the room because the culprit was the water, it had to be poisoning. He took a drip of the water and soon realized he had drank poison dropped the glass on the table maybe closer to the edge and broke it and the glass flew on the ground as well as the water, he stumbled a few feet tripping over the chair and dieing on the floor not so far away from the table.

Umm... Jerry isn't a Goldfish was he?

THEORY:- His bowl fell of the table, hitting 1 of the chairs causing it to toppel and Jerry died of suffication. The rest of the information is just to throw you off the answer.

I think Jerry died of a natural way. Jerry whas drinking some water when he sudenly suffert a hartstrook he grapt a chiar for balance but the he just to much force and the chiar fel down and took Jerre with it, now lying on the ground Jerry tried to gral to the door to get help but he died on the way ther.
