Rio Olympics.

I believe the reason why chicago did not get the contract to host the olympics has nothing to do with President Barack Obama. No South American Country has hosted the Olympics and the IOC felt it was time to do away with that record. I am all for it. And even though safety will be an issue it always is. Sound of and tell us why you think the committee chose Rio De Janiro.

One of the major reasons is that the Rio Olympics bid has the backing of the Bank of Brazil. The US offer insisted on using private funding with no government backing, and no significant backup plan if major cost over-runs should occur..

Yeah they weren't going to give it to Chicago anyway but Obama going and asking was stupid all he did was just made him look like an Jackass (referring to donkey) and cost the tax payers money .
