I agree. This is just painful and kinda pointless? but hey if you want it done go ahead your body. To bad if one hates it later on though, I presume it's harder to get off than a tattoo.

mm I think it is cool and I dont have a problem with it but I know I would never do it. I wouldn't be able to one handle the pain or the healing process.

I would rather have a tatto.
and oh my lord all the blood

    @gwen

you can't take off a scar really especially like that one... there are so many worse things you can get done to your body

including putting implants under your skin of your head to make it look like you have horns

scarification is really a mild thing to get and

no it's not pointless if you want to get it

the point is to satisfy your thirst for it and to have something that means something to you on your body

it doesnt matter about how you go about getting it done

sure it's painful but so is straightening your hair (i would know) you tend to burn yourself sometimes

and a bunch of other things that people get done

like getting waxed to be hairless

that sometimes can be very painful and yet we go through it anyway, why? because you want to

the point is you want it, so you get it

Sometimes I still dream of you, even though you were so cold

    Oooo MAN!

You know I have heard of that, I just didn't remember what it was called.

Ummm, makes my tattoo seem wimpy by comparison.

Yeah, that would be a, I pass on that! More power to ya'!

It is beautiful, but I usually spend most of my day trying NOT to get cut. lol

You just be careful if you decide to get it done, you know how I worry.

urlovely didn't mean to offend you if I did, I apologise, it wasn't meant to be directed at you. As I said, people have the right to do what they want there body. I prefer tattoos, idk, they just seem nicer. permanently putting a scar on your body to me, looks trashy, But a small one might look ok.

I guess another thing you'd have to look out for is where your getting these things done. I saw something yuck a while back about this dodgy place where they did those horn things you talked about.

What a beautiful piece you found!
As for my opinion... I love all body art. Im not sure if I'd get scar art though... Maybe. I just have soooo many scars from life already. But perhaps that would be all the more reason for scarification. I suppose life has given me so many scars that werent by choice, it'd be nice to GIVE one to myself that actually symbolized something beautiful.

I have never heard of that! And it sounds nasty! I would never do that cut a design into me that's gross.
