hello ao
me and a few of my friends have been depating on this...
im asking you guys about kids and school/uni/work....
but i was saying that i cant wait to have kids.... but i also want to go to uni to become a art teacher hopfuly but if i had the kid during uni i would end up leaving uni to raise my child .... but also if i had it when i was working i may get matunity leave but i would quite my job because i dont want someone else caring for my child other than me ( mince the father and family)
you see im scared of my child not thinking im around...ect because i know how it feels my dad was never around.... but im glad my mum was....
but i guess i would start to work when my kid/kids are like 13-15 years old and can look after themslefs....
but im wondering what do you think on this and would u o the same as me or would you do it diffrently?...

I don't recommend mixing kids with university at all unless your partner/someone close can take care of the child(ren) while you are attending class/studying.
If the kids are past their puberty it becomes easier again of course.
I do not think that university life and kids mix. In my university, I barely have time to even talk to my family or friends-----because I am surrounded my a sea of papers!!!!
But I respect the fact that you want to try........
If you think you are capable of balancing the two facts then kudos to you!!!!!
DO NOT MAKE ME UNLEASH MY INNER DEMON
depends on what kind of college you're going to and what kind of degree you're getting... if it's just general stuff, it's a f*** of a lot easier then trying to get a BA in children's psycology (what my sister did, with one bratty little girl)
it's never something you would suggest, but if you're paycheck is dependent on you getting an education then it's something you have to take. my sister had help by living at the parent's house and they helped pay bills (she agreed on a half/half deal)...
I recommend going to university first. You can provide more for your children. It's more beneficial in the long-run.
