I'll start:
1. Ozone hole.
2. Watery graves Of the North and South.
3. "Befaced" Buddha ( I seen this one one new but forgot in which country)
4. Coming soon
5. Coming soon
6. Coming soon
7. Coming soon
All I can think of . . . Sry if not enough
As many might already know, we are voting for the NEW seven wonders of the world. I think the idea is very good , considering many of the old wonders are not here anymore, like the beautiful hanging gardens of Babylon and so on. What do you think of this? Do you agree we should vote for new ones? Why or why not? Which would you choose?

Not much of a debate topic here...
Moving to the Cyberlounge...
I don't think we really need to have a "new" seven wonders of the World....it's not a mystery for how stuff is made anymore, and it's not that great of a scientific challenge. People just make a building plan, and in about a year it's built....
With the other seven wonders of the world, they actually hold some mystery because we are still trying to fully figure out how they were built, and these people didn't have the same technology and knowledge as us....so what they built were absolute masterpieces of creativity...
here's a list of the different wonders:
The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
The Great Pyramid of Giza
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
The Colossus of Rhodes
The Pharos of Alexandria
The Seven Wonders of the Medieval Mind
Stonehenge
The Colosseum
The Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa
The Great Wall of China
The Porcelain Tower of Nanjing
The Hagia Sophia
The Leaning Tower of Pisa
And then they have the list of the 'modern world wonders', which is a joke:
The Seven Wonders of the Modern World
The Empire State Building
The Itaipú Dam
The CN Tower
The Panama Canal
The Channel Tunnel
The North Sea Protection Works
The Golden Gate Bridge
I mean...what a joke...How much of a world wonder are the ones on the modern list? Not much....access to resources is far easier, the technology is better, and they didn't take years upon years to complete. Sorry, but those aren't 'wonders'. How impressive is a wonder when it's subcontracted out for millions of dollars, and built by a construction company? It might look nice, but it's not a wonder....
A wonder should actually make you think "I wonder how they made that!"
Many Thanks To SasuraiHell For The Sig!
Hmmm....
The Seven Greatest Wonders of all times are
To see
To hear
To talk/taste
To smell
To feel
To love
To laugh.
Well if you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen. ^_^
Just think if there weren't all that you wouldn't be here on a computer making jokes on AO every day.
And why is it that we are voting for new "seven wonders of the world"? What's wrong with the old ones?
