Sig Making Hey everyone I got an important question. I really want to get into sig making for forum
sites I go on. I've seen some pretty cool sigs out there but I don't know how to make my own.
So my question is when I get my own computer what kind of programs should I get
so I can make good quality sigs. Most of them would be anime. And for all of those who are pros
at this thing do you have any tips you'd like to share. I'm new to making sigs so sorry for the
noobish questions.

Is it just called "Adobe" or is there different versions of it. By the way when you guys are talking about "pay" is there some sort of monthly fee? Sorry I'm a little confused at what you meant. I

Umm....Adobe Photoshop is the basic one I think...well...that`s what I`m using.
And about paying...dunno anything about it...u can google or something.

yeah you have to pay heaps for abode photoshop, i've heard.
I think GIMP is just as good!!!. That's what I use..i'm still learning though.
The one people seem to be using now days would be Photoshop CS/CS2. Although one that alot of people use would be Photoshop 7, which i use. I paid £50 for mine, but mine was on special offer so dunno how much it costs atm.
Tutorials are the best place to pick up tips, follow the tutorial through, and if there are any effects you like, you simply learn how to use them more.

i use photoshop. but, now i use Gimp.
as i know photoshop is at some matter pretty difficult to work with it if you are not the pro. i'm not pro., but i can use it even the program lost some of its plugin because i replace it at the different drive. haha my bad luck, maybe. but it was long time ago.. hehe... do not mind it. i'm just a child with a big interest on making something new.
back to the topic.
some advantages you can get from Gimp are
1. it is all free
2. it is userfriendly to use
3. the biggest thing i love... you can get the better gimp version with a better interface in it.
about the new photoshop version... like cs or else the later than version 7 that i have before... i do not have any comment because i'm not try it.... maybe later.hehe
if you are not like using your money to buy photoshop, you can try gimp. or other freeware that you get from magazine or internet.
gimp is not really and not always a bad choice.
