Are you even old enough to buy cigarettes? Chewing gum is the only thing that I have heard helps, however I don't know because I don't smoke.

I used to think that it was definitely getting too expensive to smoke.
But I just can't shake it. Although I don't smoke as much as for sure.
But I was never what you'd call a "chain smoker" At most I think the most I ever smoked was less than a pack a day.

But when I was younger I did stop smoking for about 3 years. Then one day I just said "screw it" and next thing I know, I'm back to smoking.

PS: didn't anyone ever tell you that nobody likes a quitter

So how recently is recent??? Studies have shown that chemicals from tobacco smoking will linger in the body for up to a MONTH DURATION!!! (So you can't claim you've quit until you've survived at least a month...)

    Re: Smoking

Congrats on trying to quit! My advice for when you start feeling the need for a cigarette is to distract yourself with something else. Something that you can throw your full concentration into like a sport, book, game, or puzzle.
