Scourge (May 01, 2009)
I'm not really sweating it. If I get sick, I'll just stay indoors, get looked at by a doctor if I don't get any better. At least I'll get some time off of work.
It's nothing to really be paniced about, people get sick all the time. I think I'm getting sick as we speak (throat's getting a bit sore) but, It's probably just a cold. Now if HIV/AIDS became airborne viruses, I'd be sweating bullets.

I'm tired of hearing about swine flu. The news is wearing it out. I don't live where it is and hopefully it won't reach where Iam.
it doesnt bother me since other things have happened in cows, chickens, and vegetables/fruits in the last couple of years. Its not the end of the world.
These things happen and arent always caught before its shipped out. since its reported in at least five other countries outside the u.s, with little cases of people infected as well it hasnt hit the deadly desiease level. The only people really effected work with the animals or people who spread it through the air around them, or not washing their hands .(i work with pigs and havent caught anything and we inspected them) As long as your food is prepared correctly and you wash or sanitize you hands after touching people and using the wash closets <-(wyh) it shouldnt even be that bad.
Its the media and peoples reactions that are making it bigger than it is. Yes it can be deadly, but it is still just a flu virus. theres deadlier things out there, my area around st.louis is one of the highest for STD's, and im more worried about that.
