hey every one you wont believe why detroit students arent in school
the teachers are on strike until further notice they claim there not getting paid enough i think its alode of bull

well... get paid more... I dont know.... first of I dont know how much teachers get payed so I dont know about that.... but if its extremely low they should get a reaise... cuz I mean... if there are no teachers, how would we learn stuff... if they get payed well enoug.... then thats a lot of BS....
as for kids in Dettroit... LUCKY! I hate them <.< lol JK

i think that it good that they are standing up for there rights! but they really need to be teaching the students too. what ever.

The pay must have gotten really low in order for the teachers to do this.Many teachers I know have second jobs.

Yes,all workers including the teachers have the right to be paid,it's called the statutory rights or the rights of the workers. Poor students,even though they're happy 'bout having no classes,they wont get any grades in there...they might not graduate or they might transfer to other school...

ok, I appreciate teachers and everything, but what ever happened to doing it for the love of it. I mean if they wanted to have a high income, why didn't they choose a different career? Did they not know when they started the amount that teachers get paid?

Unless of course, during the course they reduced what they got paid. Even so, money should be the second thing in mind when choosing career, if they love teaching money shouldn't matter, so long as you got food on the table at night.

Not all teachers get paid bad. In my area some make 40,000-50,000 a year. Maybe they want to be like them?
