Tongue rings

I wanna hear your opinion on guys wearing lip rings, is it gay? or not?

Do you think it looks completely stupid?

My friend got his tongue pierced and ever since people have assumed he was gay.

No I don't think it's gay, but it's definitely stupid. I can understand ear rings, nose rings, eyebrow rings, and even nip rings, but I totally don't understand the point of rings on the lip. That and tounge pierce.

But anyways, is that the only thing out of the ordinary that your friend is putting on?? I mean stuff like eyeliner or a dress could very well make ppl think that way.

They are not gay. I had one awhile back and I am definitely not gay. I might even do it again. Its just another piercing that people get. The same as getting your ears pierced. Its nothing to get worked up over. If he was gay there would be more signs or he will come out and say it. You can't tell with just one thing.

Getting your tongue pierced has gotta be at least 5 times more painful. I asked a friend of mine about her tongue piercing and she said it did hurt more, especially since a lot of things come into contact with the tongue (as opposed to the ear). I don't see why tongue-piercings should mean someone is gay or bi. They're just another statement to me... but I definitely wouldn't go that far. Come on, porridge for two weeks? No way.

As much as I don't like tongue rings, I've seen people - of both sexes - sporting them around everywhere, both straight and gay @.@ So for me, it isn't a blatant statement of your sexuality... just a piercing to have these days (amongst other things ^_^; ).

I dont get those tounge piercing either. I mean thats got to be annoying always feeling something on your tounge. Besides the oral pleasure thing MR. K mentioned. Whats the point? To freak ppl out i guess.
