Thread: Toys when you were a kid.

my toys was:
> hammer
> screwdriver
> nails
> piece of wood

why? lol! when i'm still young, (my dad is still young), dad owns a furniture shop. so my elder sisters and brothers went to other city to continue their study... i'm the only one left in home and i'm the only one who help dad with his work other than mom... i use to help dad to fix up those furniture and send it to customers house... sometimes, we need to fix the furniture in the customers house.... after school is bout 1pm. then i dnt go tuition and help dad with his job... we got no free time (except on sunday) till dad retired (three years ago). so now i got lots of free time at home (but i'm not staying at home since i study at college). free time to watch anime series that i have.
the toys is still there... dad keep it in the basement. sometimes when i go to basement to get something i want, i saw those tools and think of the past life.... happier than now i am...

Even though I'm a girl, I used to be (and still am) a little bit of a tomgirl.

I seriously hated barbies and pink plastic like things. Stuffed animals were always by my side when I was a kid. I also used to play with puzzles when I was about 4. When I got a little bit older, I started to play with this drawing table with magnets on it and stuff. And about an age of 8 till 12 I played all kind of strategy games, and fun board games. Hell I even played chess, and I liked it too ^_^". This is all excluded videogames XD, I dun wanna start there =3 that will take awhile hahaha.

I remember playing with Pokemon action figures. My favorite was Zapdos, he is freaking cool. Most of childhood i spent it playing Football (real Football) with other kids from town.

Naw, I can't make fun of that. I know kids who's toys were tools when we were growin' up. One kid played so much with tools as a child, he can fix your car! Never went to school for it or anything. We would sit under the hood of my mom's busted old car, when it died, for hours a day.

I used to have a Creepy Crawlers oven and Goop set. I used to make all kind of bugs and stick them everywhere. My favorite was the dragons that you had to build. I also had an insane amount of of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Whether it was Christmas or my birthday or any other holiday I got presents, they always gave me Ninja Turtles. It was my obsession. Then I got into video games and forgot all about toys. I still play with baby toys when I'm around my nephews from time to time.

My sister was the biggest tomboy I knew. She hated Barbie (well dolls in general) with a passion. The only time those toys were played with was when my cousin came over, beggin' for my sis to play "house" with him. >_<

One day, my sister, myself and my friend took all of her Barbie dolls and just chucked them in the busy, one-way street in front of my house. We had them tied up like the old western flicks with the ladies tied to the tracks. When the city bus came by, that was the best! LOL. We even took the Barbie horse (walked on it's own) and just sent it on a blank mission across the street. *SMASH!!*

**Sings Creepy Crawlers jingle** Ahh... That takes me back. I remember we used to smuggle a bunch of Creepy Crawlers in to school with us and scare the pants off the girls, LOL.

Power to the Turtle's fans!! *Screams 'Cowabunga'** I was the same way. Be it birthday or holiday, I got mad TMNT paraphenilia! ^_^ Then once I started complaining about my lack of video games, my parents hooked it up and I ditched playing with toys. I'm more of a collector now (well I was up until about 11th grade). I play with my son's toys more than he does when he's around. He's got some kick-ass toys though. I even bought him Rock Lee!

LOL! i never nailed myself on board before. but ive stump on a nail before.... i learn to fix a car before but it fails... i don&#180;t have anything expert in other than furniture, sofas ..... because of that, i dnt really concentrate in my study..... i like lulu now....
