my first reaction to this story when i heard it on the radio a week ago was,

"Stuck beneath rubble after a natural disaster? There's an app for that."

but really it is an amazing story, my jaw kinda dropped when I heard about it, just amazing. I can't imagine what i would do in that situation, I'd probably have bit the dust.
