Seriously though; I think that an awesome display of courage under fire (or under rubble in this case). Not too many people stop to think rationally in times of crisis and that guy had good control over himself considering the situation he was in. I don't know what I'd have done in that same situation. I could say that I'd try to be of sound mind in that situation, but that's not guaranteed. I've never really been put in that type of situation, so it's hard to say. Any other time I've been injured, I'd try to just leave without waiting for medical attention. In that situation, you'd have to give yourself some kind of first-aid and I'm no good with that and I have a Sidekick 3, which means no cool first-aid app. >_<

Maybe that guy had an iphone? but did they thank his carrier

That is a pretty amazing story. I never knew there were apps for the iPhone that could do such things, pretty cool.
