True Essence of Love .:And Simialrs:.

Hello members of the AO Community,


Just like the title suggests, what do you think the real essence of love is? Is it a mere entity? If it is, how would you prove it? Why do you think love would/could/is the reason of hate?
In your opinion, what makes love so pure? Since nowadays, love has been loosing it sanctity quite rapidly; it has become a general term for lust, desire, backstabbing and meaningless sex. And negative feelings. Do you agree, or disagree? Why so?

Also, what exactly makes love so devine. If you had to describe love, what would you describe love as?
I would describe love as water. Everyone knows its general properties and meaning, yet no one knows its true value. Also, water becomes watever you add into it or takes the form of the container. However, if you try to dissolve mud or sand or dirt, it doesn't let it happen. Also, we don't realize its value untill we need it the most. Ultimately, it is upto us how we want to "use it".

What is your opinion on cheating? What are your opinions ... what determines love, hate and/or being so dis-loyal towards your partner even if he/she gives you everything?

As strange and blind love can be, consider this example: -
Consider a 15 year old girl, who is dating a 16year old boy. More like "deeply" in "love" with him and engaged. However, she has been through a lot of pain, abuse, torture and trauma. Being a good lover he is, he was always there for her and wiped her tears away and took all her pains into him, bu didn't show how he was hurt in the process. But, she always did hurt him, mostly because of her silliness, for example, cutting her wrists... blaming herself. But she was ultimately proved wrong, however she cheated on him several times.
Was this right? And uhh ... to spice things up ... mehh what to write ... oh she was datin a 12 year old boy. Whom they hardly knew each other. Was that worthwhile?

Love to me is something i can't explain.

You know it's out there but can't see it. You can somewhat feel it but won't recognize it until it's time. It's confusing.
I don't believe in love anymmore to tell you the truth. It's a stupid emotion and rarely comes to people. Most people who i know experience lust when they were iin "love"

Love is something you can't explain? Most of us can't, and if some of us do, it's really hard to explain, either way!
Love isn't confusing ... it's just an omnipresent force which grabs you [or vice versa] when the right time occurs.
Love isn't rare nor stupid [at times it is ;)] ... however, if they fell in love they thought they had the grounds to have only physical pleasure ... which is rather pathetic.

Why do you think we call it ""Falling" in love" anyway?

Love is something that we will know we have felt once we have felt pain and loneliness. I was recently thinking about things and come to the conclusion that once you have experiences pain and loneliness it is usually followed by happiness and love. It happened to me and I didn't see it coming either.

Love is by far the strongest emotion you will ever feel, it has the power to influence your decisions and it has the power to make all the pain go away. To some they make think that have found true love but the only way I feel you can tell is if you ask them if they have doubts about the future. If they can see themselves being happy with the person they with till they are old then it is true love as its something you would want to let go because its that special. Where as if the person wasn't able to see that far ahead with the person they are with then the relationship may not last too long.

but like as i was saying i dont belive it was woth while on dating some dude u didnt even know......( i know i wouldnt)
and i dont get while she puts her sad doings onto u while shes the one does it to get away her pain why put u in pain??... i dont ge it....

I can answer that one! its because your confidence levels have increased since you have started dating someone. People are attracted to a certain amount of confidence and seeing as your happy with yourself, its appealing to others.

I can’t answer... I honestly don’t know. You can’t prove to someone that you love them by doing something. They either know that you love them or they don’t. Love is th reason for hate because if you the someone they have done something to you, Our loved one’s often do things that hurt us, therefore we hate them for what they did. Love is pure when two people love each other so much that they stick together through everything, that they are there for each other, take away each other’s pain. Agree with what exactly?

Lemonade, tea, ect. because it takes the right balance of trust, honesty, pain, ect. to be perfect or how we like it.

It’s wrong. It shouldn’t happen but sometimes things just happen. There was one guy I knew who told everyone that we were dating but we never dated, I got questioned by people and it took me forever to get them to realize that I was dating someone else, that I loved him, that I NEVER dated him. I don’t think that I’ll ever forgive him for that, for trying to ruin my relationship…

Lets say the 16 year old cheated on her when they first started dating. That she gets told almost every day that he’s cheating on her again, that he isn’t loyal.

mk love to me is well you cant really explain it just as princesslady said but in a way you can. For me I can say it is when two people care so much for each other that you cant explain it becuase there are no waord for it. It is just that awsome and yea big.

When you think about it love isn't the reson for hate, hate is just the absence of love. If you dont have love then all you have left is hate. And yes it is loosing its true meaning but in all love will always be the same thing its just the way poeple use it is what is making it seem as if love is such a bad thing. As you said people will say I love you just to have sex and that is when it is wrong.
The ability to have sex was to me not made for having fun and being to show to your friends but to me it is showing that you love a person enough to do that.

Yea I would describe it as water too. I really dont see anyother way to.
Cheating to me would be well I would get mad if my bf kissed another girl or had his arm round her that to me is cheating. I will pull the plug right there. I dont care if they talk but if any like touching of that sort happens then your a cheater. Crule yes but if you cant keep your hands to your self in just the tiniest way then how can you when she wants you to sleep with her and you have gf.
Well love is only pure when the people actually do truely care and they mean what they say when they tell the other person that they do love each other.

for your example yea I can say the guy loved her but it is one sided. she dosnt' love him back. If she had been through so much then she wouldn't want him to have to deal with it now. She is wrong in all possible ways. And if she truely loved him then she would not be hurting herself cuase she could kill herself and she kills herself then she is killing him. The one person that really cared about her.

So yea ^_^
