I dunno... thats sounds like it would be pretty funny to see. ^^ Although on a serious note.. It bothers me when little girls dance too prevocative like the women they see in videos. Their parents should tell them they can only dance like that when they're grown. My boys watch music videos... my oldest looks at the girls, hes says they're beautiful. It doesnt bother me... I think its natrual and innocent enough for him to be atrracted to beautiful women. Its not like its a sexual attraction, I think he's just discovering what he thinks a pretty person is. He doesnt like ALL the girls, infact he has distinct and good taste. I see no problem with him developing that.

lol yeah it is funny to watch and its so hard for me to keep a straight face but I have to or it will engourage him to be even more outrageous >.< lol
but I dont like MTV for kids just because everything is way too sexual these days its like they only think a video is good if there are half naked girls and guys dry humping them
I really dont want him to act like that lol the only music videos I let him watch are Disney >.< lol
like I said I'm overly protective
besides hes already girl crazy as it is I dont need him to get any worse
everyday he comes home from school he has a new girlfriend you should have seen him when he came home and told me he kissed one of them! lol >.< I wanted to laugh cuz he said not to tell mom ... looked like he would die if I embarrassed him like that lol >.< but all I told him was to make sure he's only kissing them on the cheeks cuz I dont want him getting herpes >.<
omg you have too worry about so much with kids >.< lol

Now I know many of you don't have children. So (using your imagination), what would you censor your kids from. What would you allow?
Would you use the V-chip on your television? What ratings of movies would you allow them to see, and at what ages? What about music... will you only listen to unprofane music... with no prevocative lyrics. Or will you just continue being yourself and teach your kids whats right and wrong?

I must admit I don't do much censoring beyond not showing anything extremely gorey or sexual. But I've watched movies with the occasional sex scene. "Close your eyes" is what my parents used to say to me. I turned out ok...

An exampe is: My 2 year old loves a song with the lyrics as follows. "you're way too beautiful girl, thats why it will never work. you'll have me SUICIDAL when you say its over" He can barely talk, but tries his best to note the lyrics. Is that wrong?
Actually, I've had a long running theory that parents' taste in music always sucks because they censor themselves for their kids.

I have no real set opinion on the matter, but I was hangin in the park with my buddies when this little six year old kid came over to us from his soccer practice and said, "Don't mess wit' me, I'm a f^&(ing P.I.M.P", or something to that effect, which is a song lyric.

Suicidal, ehh, that's a lyric that you'll probably be alright with. Heck, child music stars sing words like that all the time and people think its adorable for playing grown up. Profanity may be a little more dangerous, because kids love to say all of the words they hear in songs, regardless of context.

I believe that blatant censoring is wrong; however, you don't want to expose your child to anything not age-appropriate. A few years ago parents complained because Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was too scary for their FOUR-YEAR-OLD. THERE'S A RATING SYSTEM FOR A REASON, FOLKS!!!

Kids are going to find out about all sorts of demented things in this world. I would rather my children (if I ever have any) hear it from me than someone without all the facts, but I don't want to tell them before they're ready.
