i was listening to that beyonce song and i just love it!!!!!
but anyway, i was listening to what she was saying i i want to ask, do you think it's ok to change a person just to fit your standards in order to be with them? like f as guy sees a girl and her looks is right or vice versa, does he have the right to make heror him in something she isnt? hence upgrade u? i really dunno.

Personally, I don't think we should make people change to suit our needs. A little change is fine where needed (esp where bad habits are concerned), but hey, in the same way we wouldn't like to be molded into something we're not, we shouldn't be doing the same to others. It goes both ways. I don't like conforming, so I can imagine other people would get miffed if I tried to make them conform to my convenience. A little compromise now and then is fine so everyone can get along - but people are the way they are for a reason, and that reason is not so they can be transformed into something else.

i dont think so either becuase if everyone changed the other person just fullfill
some kind of odd fixation where will the love come from? or evena freindship?
you should love or like the person for who they are and not want to change them at all, todays music and moves are trying to start a very bad trend that i think should be stoped . be with the person because you love/like thwm for who they are nt because you want to change them, then love/like them

Well all I can say is be yourself, I mean I really dont think you should change who you are, an if someones gettin you to fit there standards well thats just plain selfish. I end up in a relationship and think a girl is right for me then I would never allow her to change whether or not I am a higher standard. Thats just not me and I could never do that, as far as I'm concerned thats just goin out with eachother for the sake of it, with no particular reason.

It's for self-improvement. For the sake of self-image I'd tell everyone to stop doing a whole bunch of things. I'd feel like a horrible pig if I burped in public, and I know people would probably think the same of me too.
