Okay, really big news here.
It's official: Three spacecraft have found unambiguous evidence of water across the surface of the moon.
I suggest everyone to thouroughly read this article here: SPACE.com -- It's Official: Water Found on the Moon
Awesome, definitely awesome.
You are now breathing manually. :P

:O Wow that is a great article!
I always thought there was water on the moon... It's great that there's solid evidence of it.
This opens the door to understanding our solar system more, and even possibly learning more about the earth itself.
I'm glad you posted this, thanks!
I had heard about this quite awhile ago. It is interesting news though even if it isn't entirely new. Thank you for the link.
maybe there was water on there (and im just putting 2 and 2 together) because scientists believe the moon was created by earth being hit by something and a 6th of tyhe earths surface was blown off of it to create the moon. maybe its ancient water from earth.
Grumble Grumble Grumble
Somewhat far-fetched, as its currently believed that the oceans were formed after the creation of the moon, due to the out-gassing of volcano, and the contributions of icy comets and meteorites... One of the current ideas to explain the water is that it could be the captured protons streaming down from the solar wind...
Moon water findings are a game-changer - Space- msnbc.com
Still, this doesn't mean that the water can be mined or extracted. The real hopes needed to establish a long term moon base is still the possibility of ice hiding in the permanent shadow of those lunar craters...
Coolies. (^_^)b
Maybe 30 years from now, we can live in the moon. With Gravity, water and all... oxygen will come its way. LOL
Thanks for the link.
Len is right, this is not new at all as beast has pointed out, scientists have had strong evidence the possibility of there being water there, how ever the water in the state its in is usless, scientists also say that there is far more water in the driest most desolet desert on Earth then there is on the entire moon.
"MY DEAR... I GIVE YOU THE CAPELLAN CONFEDERATION"AND THUS THE WAR WAS STARTED NOT BY GUN SHOT BUT BY WEDDING BELLS
Indeed, it's not new.
I think a lot of the time people forget that water is really just a series of combined elements... Elements that are ... Everywhere in the universe lol! I just think it's interesting that they found something... As I said in my earlier post, it opens the door just a wee bit more so we can learn more about our solar system. ^.^
Water on the moon does not = Moonbase... O_o
