i would say three things for myself that just help me release sorrow angery anything i feel that i don't like really.
1.martial arts
2.hot showers
3. just sitting alone and thinking

I tend to play games. I get all stressed/sad/angry all that kind of emotion, I hop on WoW, raid or play for a few hours, and all that feeling is gone.
Me, sorrows? Posh. My little bro is emo and cuts himself, the fool. I, on the other hand, put on some good music and either draw, read, game or do homework. I'm never out of homework!
I would say a rage thing O.o
I don't really 'release' them.. more like just keep them bottled up ^^;;
When it gets too much I snap at people [horrible I know >.>] then go all emotional. Then I go to bed. ^^;;

I write, mainly. I write poems or long pieces of junk, lol. I listen to music too, that seems to help. Or sometimes make it worse. But either way it works.

I usually like gather all my feelings together... and they somehow transform into anger... then I just hit something.... generally the bed... than play some games.... and all just fades away....
