Yes that is very true. In this day and age sex is a big part of a relationship. Whether on not it is what holds a relationship together however is up to the persons in said relationship.

In a way sex does have an affect on a relationship because it can help it or make it worst since your parter is not been please or is.But few times in a relationship the couple doesn't care but most of the time they do.People now days want someone that they can love and get love back and also be please by them.

you see, ive been depressed ever since i turned 13, and depression isent going to help you go out and meet people... its not that i dont want to but im always being held back because a lack of courage to confront someone i liked. and to be honest... having a loving caring girlfriend is all i really want out of life... but it seems like its only going to be a dream to me... *sob*.

I think giving alittle space and not constantly being over possessive is one too. Thats enough to run your boyfriend or girlfriend off and it makes them not want to talk to you.

i am 16 and ive had 2 girlfriends, one was for 4 months and we broke up cuz we drifted apart, and the second one was for 1 month, and i broke up with her cuz she was cheating, so my advice to prevent my situation is to always be involved in her life, and be interested in her and show that you care bout her interestes, and be faithful to your girlfriend because if your not, it might come back and bite you.
