What kind of book are you? (Explain Why, In Detail)

Ok this may be the single strangest topic I've ever brought up but I'm curious. Yesterday my friend referred to most people as open books and said that I'm more like a diary with a big, fat lock on me. So that got me to thinking. If we all are some kind of book, what kind of book are you? Are we all living in some twisted library...?

Here's a few choices in the books that you can be:
Diary (like me)
Dictionary
Encyclopedia
Almanac
Manga
Novel
Series
Textbook
And many others that I can't think of at the moment.

Which do you think that you are? And you must say why? Don't get yourself in trouble listing some dumb crap. Well hope you guys have fun with this.

I think that I might be a diary or a manga. I might be a series. I hope that I can trust you guys and let you read me. :D lol

I suppose I truly do have a lock on my heart. I don't let just anybody in. But once they're in they get all my secrets and my hilarity at the same time. Diary all the way. Though it would be awesome to be a manga.

i think im a poetry book because im me and im always diffrent to diffrent people but nobody sees the true me. like a poem every body sees it diffrently but only the writer knows the true meaning.

Hah, one couldn't place themselves into an absolute category, could one?

If I could pick what kind of book I might be, I'd have to say.. either one of those ratty old textbooks everyone draws in or a novel. I'd like to be a novel, I just hate it when a book ends which fits me fine. I never wanna die either ;)

I'd probably be one of those books that you enjoy reading but some parts just pissed you off. I've never been much for the people/book metaphor, so I can't really think about this one seriously.
