All people wants a friend like that and to rely on when gave problems..
I have never really been good with the entire "friends" concept, but it would definentally have to be loyalty as the factor in my opinion. Anyone can make me laugh, anyone can make get me interested, anyone can etc.., but not everyone can be considered loyal.
Trust and accountability fall under loyalty and I would rather someone be loyal than be able to make me laugh. If someone is loyal, than they were bound to amuse me in some way considering you don't really form that meaningful or lasting relationship otherwise. Loyalty comes hand in hand with everything else in my opinion, and it is the only thing that really matters, or should.
Well another thing is I have to be able to know that they can be called on when I need them.
