I'm starting to see a lot of listing in this thread, that is one quick way to get this thread closed. Provide at least SOME information about some of the stuff you believed in, like maybe something interesting that happened or maybe your reasoning for believing in _________ (insert belief here) You don't have to do that for EVERYTHING but at least provide some information for one or a few of the things you're listing off.

When I Was Young like 5 Year Old I Didn't Know Who God....Who And What Are These People Who Taking Care Of Me....As I Live My Life I Thought Everyone Was Good People But I Was Wrong....As I Keep Living I Saw Something I Didn't Understand....I Was Playing Outside Than Heard Something....It Was A Women And Man Yelling Each other Then Some People Who Wear The Same Color....(It Was The Cops)Then My Mom Pick Me Up Then The Men Who Was Yelling Pull Out A Black Object Yell At The People In Black My Mom Ran As She Carry Me Then Shots Fire....And I Want Put This Because No One Put....I Thought Cartoon Was Real Because In The TV The Cartoon Was In The Real World....Like Cartoonnetwork When Cartoon Was Playing Sports With Kids And It Say....Uhhh....Go Out And Play....I Think.... Sometime I Still Want To Believe It....:D:
Re: What You Used to Believe as a Kid
its odd...
i used to believe in alot of things when i was a kid... santa.. easter bunny... the lots... and as i grew up i learned/ was told they were fake.
but i have dream life goin on.. where although i know its not real, i still cant help but think "wat if?" bc... idk.. but i prefer to live in dreams then reality.
haha.. so i guess i never did stop believing in anything, really.
Re: What You Used to Believe as a Kid
I'm really afraid of tornadoes, let's have that said now.
It was really ominous one day lots of years ago, I wasn't over ten. The clouds were rolling around they sky in circles and it was humid, very humid, the perfect condition for a tornado. The shy was all gray and it was getting dark, my mom always made me watch her stupid Storm Watchers shows so I knew what happened before a tornado. I thought a big tornado was going to come and break everything and everyone. Then one of my moms friends came over and told me something I believed for a really long time and wished were true.
She said tornadoes can't happen at night, she didn't tell me why though. It was about eight when she came over so I was so relieved and all the fear went away. Whenever the sky was dark and it was humid and there was hail I would wait and hope for night to come faster then I knew they couldn't come and gobble nothing and no one up.
Then I was disillusioned by some meanie head who told me that tornadoes happen at night too when I was skitzing out over a thunder storm.
So, in short, I thought tornadoes could not ever happen at night.

When I was a kid...
I believed that ghosts will haunt me whenever I watch shows about them...
I used to believe that dinosaurs will rampage my home, just because my mom showed me a learning chart about them...
I used to believe that watching TV 24/7 was good, just 'cause I enjoyed it...
I used to believe in Santa, just 'cause I always get presents on Christmas...
I used to believe that vegetables were evil and will block my airway when I attempt to swallow them, because I was traumitized when eating leafy vegetables...
I used to believe in...
SUPERMAN!

Mine was a Hide-Behind... It's a creature that hides behind things outside, and it grabs little kids when they run away from their parents or aren't good. My grandpa always told me that, and now I listen to him tell it to my little cousins.
