I think we date so we get to know the person we like more so we understand them more not just say or hot lets get have a wedding.
its one of the human functions
i dont know how else to put it
everyone at some point looks for love
wether it was when you were a baby or now
we date to find it
Sometimes I still dream of you, even though you were so cold
I won't "date"... I don't see someone as more then a friend unless I can envision a life time with them. And I certianly don't have sex with anyone (more then once anyways :\) if I can't see potential of raising children and having a family with that person. I just don't personally see a point in it.
Now the reasons I DO date is because I'm a giving person, I need someone to give myself to, my care, my time, my affection, ect. But on top of that I have a need to be accepted and loved, lack of getting security and that sort of stable feeling of unending love most kids get from their parents. I need someone to confide in because I often feel like the worlds against me and need someone on my side. I need someone to help me when my knees get week, somone to lean on. To lean on me. To know I'm needed. Yep.
dating is fun
dating eventually leads to other things
which is fun to
and whats good about dating is
you can date other people while you're dating someone else
just as long at you're not in a relationship
it gives you a chance to look around
time dies with me
I suppose thats true if you look at it at that perspective however; I think that's a bit of an immature reasoning for dating. When I look for someone to date, I look for someone whom I would enjoy spending my life with, I never think that I'll break up with them later, if I did I wouldn't bother. Conversely; if you think that way, logically your correct but, love is not that logical.
Dating is for people to get to know each other basically a mating game
