Re: why hate emos?

Sad little emo kids need to be thankful they are alive...
I've stared death in the face at a very young age... That situation has haunted me for years. But, my survival helped me to become stronger. Even though the person I should be now is dead... I am able to tell my story to other young women and men, in a hope I will help them. ((If you want details, let me know... I am more than happy to share. PM me.))
And even I know I am lucky... There are people all over the world who have it a lot worse! >.>;

The term has been rolled around the toungue longer than just two years. By then it could have picked up new meanings and/or uses. So dont go on thinking emo was brought up to describe people, it was origally to descibe music. The fashion and the at5titudes came later.

To be honest, emo has been around longer than some people of AO.
Is it so?
The adults don't seem to acknowledge this in the firs place~ XD

@Spike's Roses
You are right!
These children need to be thankful at all cost to be alive.
They don't seem to cherish things and perhaps just too darn demanding in what they want in their life. If they want something, go get it then. Don't sulk in self-pitiness and paint yourself black. No one will give you a better life that way.

:::

I personally feel that some emo feelings are absolutely unnecessary. I stumbled onto plenty of people claiming that they are 'emo' and when I asked them what gives, it was all trivial issues with all sorts of solutions that does not need death at all.
I am not saying that they are weak or their feelings are unimportant. However, they should know that they are not handicap and crippled. They can help themselves.

...
The difference between goths and emos is that goths are fashion while emos are emotionally unstable right? <.__.>
...
I don't think I can carry on in this thread without the use of foul languages!!

You took the words right out of my mouth, LOL. I've had a few friends call me Emo, and I get super pissed; exclaiming, "I'm not Emo! I actually do something about the problems I complain about!"

Yes, I write a lot of depressing poems and yes, I gripe alot, but I am by NO MEANS Emo. I'm passionate, but not emo--if that makes any sense--I act when I need to, and I do everything possible to make my situation better.

Emo kids should follow suit! Redefine the genre or group or whatever you call it. If you're gonna whine and complain... DO SOMETHIN' ABOUT IT! ^_^

Not really.

Different culture and race? That is a bit of a stretch; just more kids adding fuel to the burning pile of garbage in society. If you want to label them, cult could be a good start...not even a new brand either really.

Explain to me how Emo is suppose to be some new unique and imaginative perspective on life. Taking the old and turning it into some piss poor self interpretation, explanation, or whatever they consider it, is no more than an excuse to shut windows and doors of experience.

What great promise is there in something that was built overnight and seen as a housing for homosexuals and crossdressers months later?

It is unimaginative and pathetic to consider a style such as Emo as new or singular, when the idea for the formation and foundations were taken from the pre-existing.

We have every right to hate or dislike them anyway, anyhow, anywhere we please. They aren't fascinating or exeplainable, simply annoying and an embaressment in my opinion.

It would strike a little curiousity in the masses if the people who actually became Emo, stayed that way for awhile. 2 years? 3? 5? Yeah, that is some serious commitment there. They are the ever continuous "Macarena"; only good for a few laughs at the nearest roller skating rink.

Nicely said!!!
Indeed I assent to everything you said!
This is how high school is going to be in the near future if emoism persist:

The top of the pyramid to the bottom pit:

Cheer leaders--> The main attraction in schools. Without them, all guys will be lifeless and homo.

Football players/Athletes/The handsome ones--> Without them, all girls will have no reason to slim down and diet or force to tackle their teachers.

Average--> They are the teacher's pet. Without them, the whole classroom has to take turns carrying the files to the office. Either that, they just somehow fill out your classrooms.

Goths--> Besides their may-seem-to-be satanic fashion, they are harmless and they stick to their own kind.

Nerds/geeks--> Your short cut to scoring high marks in your exams. In short, easily bribe students to help you in your exams.

Emos--> THE LEAST CONCERNS. They sit near the windows, debating to themselves whether to jump and die or pity themselves. They don't contribute a single thing in school because of their constant thinking that they are useless.

... Sorry for being lame!!!

Baa-bai! XD
