I chose my user name because I like the show Bleach, and one of the main characters name on the show is Ichigo, in Japanese that's strawberries I like straberries. And I like Karate

i use it becose gigi is my nickname, and the reasen i use the 2005 after gigi is becose i whas trying to get on a forum whit just gigi bud it whas already taken so i used gigi2005 from that moment on

i got mine as a old nickname and i have used it for MMO games and forums for a while...

Well, first I recommend you take a guess at the origin before reading on. No need to tell me your guess.
Most people I run into either don't guess, or guess wrong... but there is a chance that people here might get it.

Some guesses I've heard:
A spanish word spin off (origin of 'espero' and I can't recall the definition).
Phantasy Star (close, but I've never played it)

My origin:
In Final Fantasy III (North American release on the SNES), there are espers. When they die, they become magicite.
I played it in elementry school, and decided that studying espers would be neat. So, I made up the word esperologist to mean 'one who studies espers' or 'one that is in the field of esperology'. (Though it took a few years to realize the field of study could be called esperology, hehe.)

When I started chatting on the internet, i used Esperologist as my handle. Since then, it has sort of become my second name... so I'm Esperologist, the esperologist.

Yeah, I'm crazy.
