Re: whats your viues on teen pregnancy

People are becoming sexually aware at an earlier age. This may not be a bad thing but it exposes a gap in sex ed. We have to definetaly fill that gap and proceed with teaching birth control methods at a younger age. Now another thing that we should do (and here is where you want to stone me) is make that over the counter crap avalable to all women, take away that BS age requirement of 18 or 17 or whatever it is.

Re: whats your viues on teen pregnancy

Teen pregnancy is really, really redundant. Simple, either shouldn't have had sex or should've used a condom or birth control. Can't have your cake and eat it too. Unless it's rape or a case similar I have not pity on pregnant teens because its their fault.
And the stupid media just keeps promoting it too, glamourizing a mistake.

But if you take one teen (from either gender) isolate them from other people then yeah . . . I imagine there wouldn't be any sex happening. . . .
But if you mean one teen boy and one teen girl . . . . not having sex with one another. . . . . there's a ton of things that go into deciding that. Most of the reasons are still being decided, and two of which are a result of hormones.

Once individuals reach an age where they begin to form non- same sex groups, the occurrence or rate of sexual encounters/experiences goes up.
The dynamics of this phenomena has yet to be quantified at the biological level. But from what I'm understanding, gender/ethniticty, and where you live impacts how often you will be targetted for this sort of thing and how often you will engage in these activities.
Again. This something I think is basically a cop out to explain why you did something stupid or extrememly unnecessary.
I understand what your saying, but i would never go overboard into my statement since there has been strong issues about what is going on with early age-sex and now it seems it is going out of hands without haveing the proper connection like talk about it with your partner before having sex.

Magic intervenes when there is love in first sight.

My view is that at the age of 15- 16 your still a child yourself and u shouldnt be thinking about sex at that age, should be thinking about an education. and when they have the child half of the time the parents are taking care of him/her. parents loose trust in their kid dont/wants believe anything they say to them and once u loose trust in parents hard to gain back. i have no pity on them cause its a choose you made and the guy should be ashamed also. and most teens who do it are trying to fit in ( which is not cool ) and are looking for attention

Is with lelouch's view... It's idiotic to get laid at such age... >.< there was a case once where a 13 year old boy become a father... the mother is 17 years old... He looks just like some kindergarden kid... and he's... a father.. What the hell is wrong with the world these days?? Who do we blame? What do we blame? *sigh*

During that age.. he should be running around with his friends...play games... read comics... STUDY! help parents... do something FUN with friends... NOT get into an intimate relationship and have sex >.< or even worse.. have random sex with just about anyone... No.. now he's stuck taking care of the baby at home... and lost all the precious time to enjoy his teenhood... He must be very happy about that...

In most cities across the US, there is no longer a lack of access to contraceptives.
Sure there is perhaps some hotility young people may feel when they buy condoms and the cashier looks at them with a dirty look.
But the thing is if you're going to be shy or feel down about the decision to protect yourself because someone looks at you the wrong way, imagine how you'd feel pregnant walking down the street and running into that same cashier.
You have to pick which level of discomfort is more tolerable.

As for sex education . .
There's a lot of intiative into promoting sexual education. The sorts of programs offered at most public schools are pretty basic. (not sure how efficient all of them are.) As for some areas there are programs that dooffer sexual education programs but you'd have to take part in those on your time.

As of a few years ago the Red Cross offered a sexual education course and due to some legal issues . . . the effectiveness of their program went down a little. Apparently for some programs it is illegal to say the word 'abstinence' but it's totally fine to say 'try to obstain from . .'

And it's only in some parts of the US where there is limited access to certain contraceptives and or it is illegal to seel certain contraceptives to some individuals.
The reasoning behind this is . . . like 2 steps forward and one step backwards.
The goal is to keep certain powerful pharmaceutical products from the general public becuase of harmful side effects or because the risk to one's self if not used correctly.

Neither a condom or birth control is 100% effective. Used in conjunction with one another though you're facing some better odds.
Now if only we could purchase a remote that controlled hormones and got reasoning and logic going.
As for the media. . . . that's only part of it. I think a bigger part may be the things that influence any person in that age group. And yeah that's dependent on a lot of different factors but for sure it it means that media isn't the only factor.
And while I agree the media does contain a high sexual content moreso than it used to but can you really fault the media? I'd sooner blame the person that gives a teenager access to these sorts of things than any media mogul.

Most people don't talk to their parents about everything including but not limited to sex.
And sure I agree with you that talking to your parents may not be such a bad idea. But I think it's illegal to not stop children from engaging in sexual activities. And in addition to that, no sane parent ever tells their child 'i know you want to have sex, but i think you should wait until you're no longer ovulating' or some other equally retarded crap like that.

In the past, women were married as young as 12. In addition to that and still to this day, a marriage needs to be consumated to be valid. This is a big enough deal that in some states, lack of sex is a valid reason for divorce.

And actually from a biological standpoint this would probably be one of the better ages to start having kids. But giving the role women play in society nowadays sure that may not be a good idea but the only reason it's shunned upon is predominantly because it will have a negative impact on their roles in the future.
    (if that makes sense.)

Sex isn't stupid. Stupid people can have sex. And yeah that's unfortunate but the act itself is part of the reason the human poulation is just thriving.

If you use birth control but do not follow directions then . . . you may find yourself screwed (pun intended) somewhere down the line.
Most teenagers (and even some adults) have no freaking clue how to use a condom. I think for most teens polled, they have a better chance of using the pull out method than they do of using a condom.

Re: Your view on teen pregnancy

i dont think its right, but its their fault and their parents. Parents now days have a harder time controling their kids, and some just let them do what they want. most of the time though many parents dont go into the details of sex, and what happens later when babies actually come into the world. in most cases parents end up being the one to take of their grandchild, while they go to school, work or whatever it is one of or both of the teenage parents do.
Its like babies taking care of babies themselves, its different when your on your own and supporting yourself, than when you live at home, going to school, and arent old enough for a job, or take care of yourself. for me its just kinda gross, and wrong, we dont live in the fifteen hundreds anymore when people live to 40 at the most, and young girls were married off to have children to carry on the line. I think they should just be out having fun with friends and family, growing up, and learning to grow up, not taking care of a new life.

so id rather that their be more common knowledge of how to use protection than letting them figure it out on their own, and many guys dont like condoms and talk girls out of using them. talking with parents, and knowing when your too young for such an adult step in life, that they could come to regret later.your still basically a baby yourself who hasnt experienced life to the fullest.

in the end sex is their choice, but its their responsibility on both participants to act with common sense and use something to prevent something like a baby from happening. Many are having multiple partners with children, and its usually the father who has more than one baby mama.
In my town alone, i have seen multiple boy from 12-18 have at least two-four baby mamas, some older, or younger. Im not saying that girls dont have multipule baby daddies, but its more common for men.
We have a sex education class but they dont into the details of putting condoms on, or birth control use. its mostly what everything is and how it works to desieases.

Many though dont know the responsibilty of a baby and think nothing of it either. So with the media, and older siblings teaching kids and young adults how things go without the negative consequences behind those actions, it doesnt help them out in the end, especially since many of them cannot get jobs and support a child themselves without their parents help. they dont know their giving up their lives to take care of another, and many tend to be single parents by the end of highschool, if not soon after. they force themselves to grow up before they need too, and many are paying child support when they start working at sixteen.

..........nothing is true, everything is permitted..........
