Well what alot of it is (And yes I do make videos on youtube and I am guilty of it too) When you search for videos through yahoo videos sometimes you can get content that is hard to find other places so you use that. I already got a slap on the wrist for making a Wolf's Rain video and some company in Japan complained about it so they deleted it...
What do I think will happen? Probably nothing they will just try to make it stricter but there is no way they can really rid the site of pirated content it just won't work. If the japanese companies sue google has enough money if youtube dosn't... Just my two cents...

Maybe need to ban all the users than upload videos with copyright, like anime and other things. Only original productions like here, talking about wallpapers.

Honestly, I doubt youtube will close I think it's just a rumor.
