    Affliction Folding.

    As some of you may know the fight promotion Affliction folded, this is very tragic indeed. Many people feel that affliction tried to do right by its fighters with non-exclusive multi-fight contracts. But it did not prove the winning conbination. What do you think will become of their fighters. I think the UFC will absorb many.

    To clarify: Affliction itself didn't fold, they're out of the MMA event organizer business but its core business (creating clothes) remains intact. They will still sponsor fighters, even UFC ones.
    After Barnett's positive urine sample, the main event of the Affliction Trilogy (Barnett vs. Emelianenko) was done for and a suitable replacement for Barnett could not be found. This was the final drop for the organization. The 2 previous events didn't turn much of a profit either.


    Also, moving to the Sports section.
