Aw... poor turtle.

I tried to save a gimpy squirrel like that once. Someone ran over his hind legs. And he was just using his fronts to scurry to safety. I called some "wildlife rescue" or somthin' like that. but I couldn't kill it. I named him Tic-tic. Those wildlife people probably picked him up and killed him shortly there after.

aww a turlte. I love animal sometimes my family calls me animal crazy or luver of animals.but i woulda take it 2 the pet hospital first though.

I feel really bad for the turtle and seriously this girl who picked up the turtle in the middle of the road which had been hit by a car is is just weird and I must agree with you Zev that she should've had put it out of it's misery if it was bleeding cause then the turtle has been suffering from the blood loss and the severe damages caused by the car.Seriously she would drive 2 hours after she gets off of work that's just insane just to get to a 24/7 emergency room.

but i think it's kinda mean to leave the little guy in the car, bleeding... but it's better than he most likely would have gotten!

Lol this reminds of time my bros saved anewly hatched sparrow which had fallen out of the nest the dam thing was limping and twitching with pain but theywere keen to save it the poor birdie survived for a day or two but died later and guess wat? Theyactually cried for it lol they werNe like don't laugh! An innocent life has been taken away lol that had me laughing for a long time X)

Wow! I never had to save a dying animal or anything, but me and a friend of mine freed a squirrel from a raccoon trap. I dunno why someone would think putting a raccoon trap out in the parking lot in broad daylight would catch a raccoon, but it was out there. We went outside to have a cig and we heard this squirrel flippin' out in the trap. So, after about twenty minutes of trying to figure out how to release the trap, we freed the little guy.

OH! About six or seven years ago, I found a half dead bat in my basement and was too scared to take it outside myself, so I called my friend and had him come over and bring it outside (I don't deal with bats well, LOL). My sister's mom is a huge animal lover. She would find all these strays on our property and couldn't bare to take them to the humane society (which is what common sense would tell me to do). So, when I moved in with them, we had like 4 dogs and 13 cats! It was insane! One of the cats had two tails! (No lie!)
