Yesterday 2 bosses quit, they had each found different and better jobs. Because in my job with the constant stress it makes people burnout quickly and its very easy to get fired. I'm surprised I have lasted this long.
I blew off work today because I woke up too early, got my car fixed, and all that jazz. Actually been having a good day, and I don't want to ruin it by going to work.
Anyways, one of the people that quit sent out a message before they resigned. That said you could work very hard, and never see anything in return. Advised everyone to quit and find a better job. It was funny, because its the truth. The company changes things constantly, its a high stress job constantly having to meet standards and stats or be fired. You may see a little bonus for your blood, sweat, and tears. Thats about it though. We are very unmotivated.
I guess the best part was this girl in training that read the message and didn't understand why he would send that out. I give her a month or 2 and she will know.
I might start looking for a new job, I have worked here over 3 years, the jobs okish. When your bosses start quitting, its not a good sign of good things to come.
My main reason why I dislike the company I work for, is that they don't tell you anything, they don't listen to the people that work for them, and they essentially took away my first 2 raises, so new people made more or the same pay I do.
What they did is you got a raise every 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and so on. Well they changed the base pay rate to 10.00 for everyone! I had already worked their a year, and my raises didn't carry over. So I lost 2 of my raises. Then the new people got their 6 months and their year raise on top of the 10.00 and hour, and I had to wait another year for a freaking raise. Therefore they were making more than me. Honestly that made me the maddest. After that point I lost my motivation to be a great employee, and work hard.
The only reason I havn't quit is because I have a comfort zone, I know what I'm doing, I love the people I work with for the most part. I got health & dental insurance, vacations days, and so on. I really hate change.
A lot of people are looking for new jobs again, because they are changing everyones pay rate again, dropping them down from 10 bucks to 8.50 and hour! Except for the supervisors, and high up bosses, so we are safe from this pay rate decrease.
