yes, I think he just wants the good old days in his memory back, in which Rin is alive and Kakashi is alive too. I was wondering why he left Kakashi alive...so Naruto 607 will show what has he done as Madara?

I still can't believe that Obito put that whole stupid plan into action over something like that, I mean he didn't even know why Rin died, and he never tried to find out. Even if his plan succeeded, it would never bring Rin back all he would get is a dream version of her that he'd create from his memories but it wouldn't be her. I'm sure Kakashi had a good reason for doing what he did, and now we know exactly how Kakashi gained the power of the mangekyo. And since the story of Obito is unfolding, i'm sure we'll learn exactly why he attacked the village 16 years ago.
