well, I don't think he is happy because he saw Sasuke in Naruto 577. he just is satisfied what he has done. he told Itach that if Itachi killed him, the jutsu can't never be stopped. he is mocking that Itachi dare not kill him. Kabuto is a evil badass!

after reading Naruto 583, I can't help thinking that Kabuto is not happy at all. something just drives him crazy.
