    About bandwidth

    I've heard that bandwitdh can effect you line's speed, is that true? Can I increase my line's speed with it? How does it work?

    Yes your bandwidth is your max speed of your connection. But there are a few things you should know. It never runs at max speed. And the more programs that you have accessing the internet the slower it will become. If you can't pay for a higher speed then the next choice is to use what you have wisely. If you have an IM program, web browser, and any other program that continually accesses the internet active it will slow be slower. I suggest closing down programs you don't use until you need them. Also if you have multiple pages loading or multiple downloads, those affect it as well.

    An IM is an Instant Messenger program such as MSN, AIM, YIM, ICQ, etc. I only mentioned them because they are the most used among internet programs.
