Alternative to RealPlayer

I am very much sick of this program and was wondering if there are any alternatives to watching .rm (real media) files instead of using RealPlayer. Are there any thing like codecs or other players that I can use??

I'm not entirely sure, but if you have Realplayer installed, you an play RM files on MediaPlayer Classic.

I wonder if any player has successfully made a way to make everything black except the image like Realplayer can.

VLC only seems to pull off the audio.

So I am trapped by them huh...?

Or how about video converters?? Any out there that is capable of changing .rm's?

I know that Riverpast Video Cleaner will convert any format to any other format with minimal loss in quality, but it costs money... unless you know where to look.

No it's fine, I found it myself. There are codecs out there along with media player classic that can work wonders with quicktime and real.

If you google "real alternative" you can get the codec that will allow you to play most .rm files without the bloatware/malware which is Realplayer. This codec is also found in CCCP.
