BitTorrent, huh? How do u use it?

Well, I have heard from friends that u can download anime, manga etc. with bitTorrent. I have tried,but I just cant get it to work. To explain it better, I downloaded the program bitTorrent and when I went to anime suki, I thought it would download the episode but all it did was download something else, after that I tried to open it but it would ask me to open it with one of my programs, do not know which or with internet browser. What do I do?

This goes in Tech Support...no offense or anything but you need to learn to experiment with the tools you have and not ask people for a manual.
