    Building a PC

This isn't my first time that I'd be building a system, I have built many in the past that my brother has asked me to help him with and some that I have worked on alone from scratch. My question, however, are what components would you guys recommend to me? You see, I just know where everything goes inside the pc to get it working, but I know next to nothing on the actual products, which are best, and so on themselves.

The PC I am aiming for is one that would be great for playing all kinds RTS's no them, and then there's my Photoshp work to consider, and I also delve into 3D design work with 3D's Max 9. Considering that, what would be the best products I can get?

    Money is not an issue.

Now what I would do would be to look over some of the hardware enthusiast sites to look over reviews and opinions. The sites I routinely check are...

For graphics card, i would suggest getting Nvidia GeForce. I've always had them and even with my on board graphics that I have at the moment, it still works great. Also get a nice 500gb HDD. I have one and it really does the job of holding all my Photoshop images etc. Along with my videos and music files. I do also have a sound blaster Audigy 2 and it only caused a problem once with my old PC but that was because my Cam-corder confused it. Otherwise, I would I would say get a lot of RAM.

I am not really knowledgeable with computer components but I seem to manage ok.

Let me go ahead and add a nifty site to that list.

Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

I wouldn't go all out on a computer if your only going to be doing internet surfing / graphics.

Probably a 2.0ghz processor, 1-2 gigs of RAM, a nVid 8500, a ASUS motherboard, 500-600 watt power supply, normal keyboard and mouse -- 17-19 inch flat screen with normal speakers.

Pretty basic unless you wanna step it up a notch.

    THE RULES!

I'm on my grind in search to find whats on my mind, its one of a kind!
