Have you tried calling your ISP? That's how I fixed my modem before.
I'm using the BILLION ADSL Modem, sometimes it just suddently stopped receiving datas! (I see from the right bottom of the screen where you can double click on the icon and see the status of your connection, where it shows how much bits of thing you have sent and received)

Okay, what about calling the manufacturers of your modem? Do they offer technical support? If so, I hear it can be fixed that way, I personally don't have experience doing this, but I hear some people have had it help. My advice is a nut shell is to first call everyone who can offer support, and then if all fails, to buy a new modem.
They say the modem's fine, but they think the problem's elsewhere, which I don't know.
