Context menu is the list that pops up when you right click in Windows, just to clarify. So my issue is right now for .mov files, when I right click and highlight the "OPEN WITH" section another section pops up with a list of usable applications. And for .mov files, there's two entries for Media Player Classic. How do I get rid of one of them??
I know it has something to do with regedit but I forgot and want to be sure first when it comes to the registry. Thanks in advance!

Where the .extension is the name of your desired extension (in this case, .mov). Add or remove values in the extensions "OpenWithList".
Again, do this at our own peril. This is your registry, so if you mess up (like erase the entire thing), you could have some pretty severe issues.

Oops. Didn't realize because this post wasn't that low on the list--i admittedly didn't look at the date. It looks like the tech section doesn't get too much action anymore.
