    Deleting Web Adresses

    hey, how do you delete the web adresses in the adress box? you know, like when you type say "www.w" and then everything starting with "w" comes up? how can i delete those? im running Windows ME. im just tired of seeing all these different things when i type something. im weird like that.

    Just clean out your browser history, and that should do the trick...

    ive done this. plus ive cleaned out all cookies and saved web files [that make pages load faster[ and now everythings slow again. and for what its worth, i defragged it too.

    There should be this option call autocomplete, this should allow you to stop it...I think. Haven't used IE in a while.

    EDIT: Yes, I was right, just go to autocomplete settings and uncheck "web addresses"

    I do mine by going to toolbar & selecting Tools, then internet options choosing the general tab & it has a section that says history & a tab with clear history... You can choose the days of internet links you visited & up to how many you want to delete... I always choose 30/ a full month...
