    Re: Free Virus Scan

Is it just a scan, or does it actually get rid of whatever it finds?

    Grumble Grumble Grumble

You have to be very careful about those 'free' virus-removal services, as quite a few of them have turned out to be fronts for installing Trojan horse Zombie software onto your computer. If it's a service from a reputable company (but confirm that website location first) then it is probably safe, (or, in the worse case scenario, you know who you can sue!!!)

I hate those. While it's nice to have a scan and removal when your software can't, even legit ones put files on your computer I hear.

Violent, btw...about your sig, IE 6.0 is faster then FireFox. So are many other web browsers.
