GIMP Stuff

I'm having trouble with GIMP.[this has nothing to do with viruses] my computer cant open the files or something. . . . . sorry, im a bit clueless to the sig making thing. BTW: just in case it's useful for u to know, my computer runs on windows.

i found out that i do have to download certain programs first, but that's all i know. anyone know anything else?

Not sure if this is what you are talking about but to get GIMP working you also have do download a GTK+2 environment get it from here :

http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html

edit: im still havng a little trouble.

edit: i think i need zip- my computer didn't come with it.

If you are a beginner, just cut some area from an existing scan. MSPaint can do that. Adding a text is also simple. You can use the GIMP when you make it work.
