Without T9 writing text messages would be horrible... it's just sad that I'm forced to switch back to alpha because it won't let me write certain words or names not included in its dictionary:( . How do you add new words using T9?:help:

Its simple memory. I'm not sure if the older phones have that ability but with my phone all you have to do it is leave it on T9 and keep typing. Just make the necessary changes for the word when you need to. After a few times it will automatically remember it. All you have to do is keep using T9 and just change the letters as you type them.
