Get ImageReady and Save Optimized As Gif format, as for the folder I heard if you have XP Professional you can password protect your files from the " Properties " otherwise you can go out and buy a program that does password protection.
I was wondering how do u make a gif file because i been trying to make one and it never works if you know how to plz post it down and also i need to know how can you make a folder that only lets you in with a password plz tell

Well thats one way or you can open the file in Paint and then go to Save As and change the format there. Thats how I did it before I had Photoshop or ImageReady.
Well paint has a .gif format saver? >_> Thats a first ( I never use paint ;/ )
I think he meant animated gifs, not just low-quality gif format for pictures.

Now password protected (encrypted) folders are only available in Windows XP Pro, as Home and Media Center edition lack this ability. If you have XP Pro, then just search Help for 'Encrypt Folder' for the instruction on how to do this...
