How do you get rid of scratches on disks

How do you get rid of scratches on disks? I'm asking because my gameshark had a lot of scratches on it (even when I got it 3 years ago and it's worked fine.)

You can get a little utility used for scraping a fine top layer of the CD but those aren't very good. --> HERE
Sometimes your local video rental shop can do it for you on a professional machine.

Not sure what a game shark is, but if whatever disk is valuable or unreplacable, you might want to consider making a backup with a burner and a good utility (like Alcohol 120). That is also assuming you own the original still (or ye be a pirate).

You could find a disc cleaner. Or find a Game Stop store to clean the disc.

call me cheap but i use tooth paste to get rid of my scratches
i dont recomend it to anyone but it works pretty good for me,
my playstation games and udio games play fine after i use that,
you might want a laser lense cleaner as well becaus that might have something to do with the game not working either

this may sound stuped but u should try toothpaste its cheaper then buying some thing like disc cleaner it works i use it all the time on mine.

wow toothpaste to clean disks? that obsurd and also what gave u the idea to even try such a thing lol:D: it just seems kind of awkward cuz i have no money so all i do is burn countless copies and keep them just incase
