So why do you need the password? The default installation gives administrators rights to the account? Was this setup as a multi-user machine?
Are you trying to steal someone's password?? O_O
Do you want to create/change a password or erase an account? If that's the case go to control panel. Then go an click on user accounts, once you do that you'll see 3 different tasks that you can do; change an account, create a new account or change the way users log on and off. Underneath that there are two more options; one is to mess with the daministrator's account and the other one is to mess with the guest account.
What do you mean take a password? If you are the Admin of the Computer, you have full access to all accounts, however if you only have a Guest account, you can only do what the Admin allows you to do. However if you are trying to steal a password from someone else, you will get no help from me, or anyone else I suspect.
