A T-1 line is a faster means of internet connection, there are only a few methods faster. ATM, T-2 thru T-5, Fiber Optics, Sonet and some others.

Hmmm must be a crappy router, I mean a router is suppose to boost signal not slow down your connection speed otherwise none of us would have a connection worth squat since there can possible be hundreds of routers between your host and your PC. I would say yes due to the fact dl things uses your allocated bandwidth and slows down eveything interms of you connection to the test. Try it again doing nothing else on the web and see if you don't see at least a moderate increase.Originally Posted by jaam0927
