So I think something happened to my modem and wireless card in my laptop. It may have been from the tornados, and serve thunder storms. However now I have to send in my computer to Hp to have it fixed. Which I never had to send anything in before, so I am kinda worried that it may comeback in worse shape, if it doesn't take them 2 months to ship it back to me.
So do guys have any tips/experience on what I should expect from sending it to the manufactor to be fixed?
Now I have to fix my desktop computer, to use it in the meantime. Its adware/spyware city, I keep getting all these naughty site popups. I'm just going to erase everything and start from new again. And I blame everything on Internet Explorer, is there anyway to erase Internet Explorer completely off the computer and just use a different web browser?

I would just reinstall your desktops OS then follow the steps to uninstall IE off your computer but first download Firefox.
