After I disconnected my iPod from the computer, I turned it on but it froze. Like, completely froze. I tried re-setting it, but it wouldn't work. Then the next morning I found it to be off. And I couldn't turn it on. So I connected it into my computer, and I think it works now. Anyone know what happened to it, so I can avoid this problem later on?

To the computer, the iPod is essentially a 'Flash Device', just like your USB flash drives. If you yank it out without doing a proper 'eject' some of its file system 'state' (which is cached in computer memory) hasn't had a chance to be written to the iPod. So essentially, you corrupted the iPod's file system...
Moral of this story, always do a proper 'eject' of removable, writable media before yanking it out of the computer...
Ah. Okay, thank you len! And now that I think of it.. I never did eject the iPod out..
i find this problem only with macs, i've been unproperly yanking my ipod out when im in a rush, but 'eject' when i feel the need to, which is never anymore.
