So how are you connecting this printer??? Parallel Port? USB?
A week ago i got myself a Lexmark Z645 printer and i conected it to my pc and installed the OS of the printer but my computer said it didn't have a conection whit the printer so i i did what the intsructions said and it didn't work, then i reinstalled the printer OS but that also didn't work.
Then i went to the website of Lexmark and intalled a supord progame and that also didn't work.
Agording the the probleme solver of my pc it's a probleme whit the OS of the printer and i should get supord from the Lermark website but i did that and it didn't work.
So dose anyone hase any idee what the probleme can be and how i should solve it.

Have you checked to see if your USB ports are actually working??? (such as trying a USB flash drive device???)
Yes i did it whas working perfectly fine, i think it hase somthing to do whit the OS from the printer i downloaded the version for Vista tree times but it dosn't work i also tryed the origenal version tree times and that also didn't work.
I tryed the printer in the computer of my litle brother and it workt but it dosn't work on mine computer.
i had a lexmark printer hooked up by usb for about 3 or 4 months then all of a sudden it just stopped working and did what yours was doing. i have no idea what the problem was. i dont like lexmark printers that much anyways.

yeah mine stooped working after about two months its turns out that it burned port into or somehting like that so may need to take to get checked out circut city gave me new one due to their policy
