Got to Settings->Control Panel->Sounds & Audio devices and change the speaker type to laptop mono
I'm having some trouble with my speaker, right now my computer speaker is my Washburn SX25b guitar amp, and it only plays left-speaker stuff. Does anyone know how to shift all the right-speaker sound to my left speaker?
Edit: Oh, I use Windows XP Home by the way.

What kind of sound out does your computer have? And have you tried going to your local electronics store and buying a stereo to mono adapter?
Realtek AC97 Audio, I haven't gone to any electronics stores, but I think I'll head out there sometime in the next couple of weeks.... or maybe I'll just go to the old Walmart and buy some actual computer speakers.
If you use the Mono option like LenMiyata said, it would work (i tested here) but look if you are putting the jacket on the right sound output, not on phone output. If you have RealtekAC97 full program installed i think theres an option to active the 5.1 and 7.1 sound system, disable it too.
